This first installment lays a strong foundation, leaving readers eager for more adventures to come. I can't wait to see where the series goes next.
Faeries Don’t Lie is a quick easy read with complex social and adventure situations that allowed me to feel the adventure. When I sensed the ending coming (both through writing and the remaining page count) there was a melancholy sadness that there wasn't more to read. But there will be. I’ll be there for an early read of Faeries Don’t Forgive.
The politics between the two worlds is chefs kiss. This book had action, magic, family issues, as well as other creatures aside from fae. I really enjoyed this and cannot wait for book 2!

The author writes exceedingly well and many a page glimmers with the fine fire of well wrought imagery. There's much to ponder here and the story telling is well paced, making both narrative and world building equally matched. I, for one, am eager to read the next installment.
The story immediately draws you in with its intriguing plot, and the world-building is both rich and immersive.
TF Burke weaves a stunning tale of love, treachery, friendship, loyalty, magic, as well as good and evil in this tapestry we call a story. And as the tale progresses, so too does all the wonder and excitement

Faeries Don't Lie by TF Burke is a remarkable
beginning to a fantasy series for young adults,
in many ways reminding readers
of the Harry Potter series.
I was constantly on the edge of my seat hoping things would turn out all right!
Magic, faeries, pegasi, trying to save the world from destruction....and a shapeshifting villain? This book has them all!

This was an entertaining story that's fit for all ages. The characters were memorable. The world reminded me of something from Andersen or the Brothers Grimm. A wonderous adventure!

A wonderful fantasy novel for those seeking an intriguing yet complex read.
If you enjoy books with an entire cast of characters and a complicated story, this is for you.
I loved reading this from start to end! Aunia and Mathias were easy to connect to, and some of the issues were ones I could identify with. I recommend Faeries Don't Lie to anyone who enjoys fantasy with a dash of romance. It has become a favorite, and I can't wait for book 2!

This book is a great book which I enjoyed reading a lot. It has surprised me with the engaging plot and characters. If you want to read a great and unique fairy story, with action, magic, romance and a wonderful setting, this is the book you want to read.
This is a really great fairytale, with interesting mythology and fascinating characters. It's a story about what happens when someone who has been raised as an outcast starts to get an idea of her proper place in the world. Into this is mixed a really sweet love story. The main story is resolved in this first volume, but there are many open questions and I'm really looking forward to reading the next book when it comes out. Well done!
Let me say upfront that this is a genre that I would usually not read, but I was drawn in by the book description. Then I was caught up in the story, the characters (especially Aunia), and the world. Now I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I can see this series appealing to adults as much as the teenage audience. In this way it reminds me of the Harry Potter series—which I have read twice!

While the novel takes time to build momentum, it ultimately rewards perseverance with an unpredictable and vibrantly imaginative high fantasy experience.
Faeries Don’t Lie is an enjoyable read, breathing fresh life into the genre with its inventive world-building and original lore.
